EuroDIG 2019: Discussion on Online Harms
THE HAGUE, THE NETHERLANDS, 19-20 June 2019 One year later and Sunium was back to EuroDIG to organise a panel session titled “Tackling online harms – a regulation minefield? Present and future“. EuroDIG, or the European Dialogue on Internet Governance is an inclusive multi-stakeholder platform that occurs annually in a different European city. The essence of this meeting is to debate and exchange thoughts about the Internet and how it is (or should be) governed.
OECD Forum “World in EMotion” 2019
PARIS, FRANCE, 20-21 May Only months after Internet Governance Forum and GovTech Summit, Team Sunium returned to Paris. This time, the French capital gathered high-level participants and speakers for a 2-day public engagement event, where the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) hosted its 20th forum “World in EMotion” at the OECD Conference Center.
YEiV 2019: Embracing complexity to build a strong voice of the youth
DENMARK, 6-12 May 2019 “Young Europe is Voting” (YEiV) gathered 200 young people from across 22 European countries to meet in Denmark and share their dreams and visions that finalised in a set of calls to action for the next European Parliament. In the light of the upcoming elections Sunium has advocated for a more systematic and holistic approach in shaping the youth vision.

Political Risk Analysis – Thinking in Complexities Summer Course
ST.GALLEN, SWITZERLAND, June 29 – July 2 2018 Sunium organised a summer course to identify complex problems and future challenges in the political sphere. Different methods were brought closer to the participants. Cybernetics and systems thinking as well as sensitivity models were used to diagnose current political events in order to identify and measure the effects on multistakholder interests.
