From Complexities to Future Perspectives

A year ago Sunium was established. Now, we wish to give you a taste of what we have been doing and see what we could do together in the future! The team is organising a full-day event on 6 April that gives a unique opportunity for the public to attend a “Thinking in Complexities” workshop free of charge. Afterwards, the evening program includes an Anniversary Celebration to raise a glass as well as present our work and future prospect.

When? Saturday, 6 April, 2019

Where? NH Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Hoofddorp, the Netherlands (Travel to the Schiphol airport and take a free shuttle bus)

Sunium Founders Dr. Constantin Malik and Nadia Tjahja will hold the workshop free of charge to mark the celebration. The “Thinking in Complexities” workshop is aimed at providing participants with practical and theoretical knowledge on Systems Thinking – a holistic approach to complex issues. Initiated by a strategic cybernetic game “Ecopolicy”, workshop will build up participants’ capacity in understanding the concepts of systems and interconnectivity. Finally, experienced facilitators will guide the participants through theory and finalise the workshop by giving the attendees the hands-on experience on modeling their own Systems.

The course has been taught throughout Europe, including Brussels, Belgium, St. Gallen, Switzerland, London, The United Kingdom and Warsaw, Poland. In St. Gallen we tackled complex problems and future challenges in the political sphere. Participants left mesmerised:

“This field of study allows practitioners to fully comprehend the complexity of today’s interconnected world.”

Furthermore, in Poland, we brought the workshop to the future policy-makers at the College of Europe, where they investigated subject matters such as the European Neighbourhood Policy, Energy, Climate Change and the Digital Union.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from leading cybernetician Dr. Constantin Malik and award-winning project manager Nadia Tjahja to shift your perception in tackling complex issues. Secure your spot now – Registration form.

In the evening, we will host an Anniversary Celebration with drinks and nibbles, where Sunium Founders will address the participants with state of the company and will shed a light on what the future holds for the company!
